Introducing the Poeme™ Collection

GREEN BAY, WIS. – Pallas Textiles is excited to launch The Poeme Collection™. Much as its namesake suggests, Poeme is carefully designed with a nod to handmade aesthetics and plush décor in lieu of words. The collection plays on emotions synonymous with poetry through texture, tactility and intricate details. The woven artistry displayed in Poeme captures a combination of sophisticated aesthetics, adding to Pallas’ repertoire of crafted textiles.
“It can be challenging to balance high design with high performance, but we were able to develop the Poeme Collection without sacrificing either,” said Dean Lindsley, VP of Pallas Textiles. “It’s a beautiful addition to our portfolio of sophisticated high-performance textiles.”
The collection includes the following patterns:
Prose - Prose offers a storied spin on a time-honored aesthetic by juxtaposing an assortment of colorful geometric shapes in a relaxed plaid sequence to create a loosely embroidered effect. Undeniably chic, Prose is a statement textile that is truly the heart of the collection.
Ballad - Ballad is evocative of its poetic namesake by virtue of its melodious arrangement of details. Equal parts classic and contemporary, Ballad features a random interplay of colorful textural yarns on a subtly dimensional ground. It captures the uneven tactility of natural fibers such as hemp and linen, making it a unique addition to the Pallas lineup.
Sonnet - Echoing poetic structure, Sonnet is an understated plaid with a vintage undertone. Its contemporary colorways, featuring 14 distinct high UV yarns in a pointed arrangement of hues, range from elaborate neutrals to unexpected kaleidoscopes of color. This subtle multicolor fabric is perfect for indoor/outdoor use.
Ode - Intricately textured, Ode captures the delicate tones of some of the most variegated natural fibers. This alluring blend of yarns elaborately woven together in an arrangement of light and dark tones, evokes the essence of harmonious rhythm. Ode is a delightful addition to our range of exclusive textures.
Lyric - Delectably lofty yet resolutely tough, Lyric is gorgeous in its plush simplicity and opulent hand. Its luxurious style and rich tactility are sure to make it perennially popular. Lyric is offered in a captivating selection of colors and is the most lyrical design in the collection – a characteristic from which is draws its name.
Lyric uses Q2 yarns, which are OEKO-TEX® 100 certified and rigorously tested down to each individual color as each perform differently. Q2 high-performance yarns give textiles the following attributes: superior durability, high abrasion resistance, high light fastness values, free from chemical additives (conforms to Prop 65, AB 2998 and is free from FR chemicals), skin safe and hypo-allergenic. Q2 yarns are easy to clean and bleach cleanable, though a majority of stains can be removed with simple soap and water; solvent-based stains such as permanent marker can be removed with acetone. Disinfect with household disinfectant products.
