The Two Timing Collection, the second collaboration between Pallas® Textiles and designer Lucy Aiken-Johnson, marries architecture and iconic fashions into timeless upholsteries. It offers a contemporary perspective on geometric patterns to impart a classic aesthetic into corporate, hospitality, healthcare and education spaces. Two Timing is displayed in Pallas’ showroom, space #1181 at NeoCon® World’s Trade Fair 2009.
“Two Timing was formed around simple, repetitive geometric shapes,” said Lucy Aiken-Johnson, principal, ai3, Inc. “I looked for recognizable designs and used texture, finish and color to interpret them into usable upholstery textiles. For example, the diamond harlequin of the Racy pattern was inspired by fishnet stockings. Two Timing is inspired by both the shade and shadow of structure and the classic styles in fashion. This union creates unique, beautiful patterns suitable for all types of spaces.”
