PALLAS® TEXTILES DONATES PORTION OF SALES FROM ENTWINED COLLECTION TO BREAST CANCER RESEARCH
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:
October 14, 2011
GREEN BAY, WI
is donating a portion of its sales from its highly successful and award-winning
—a collaboration with designer Laura Guido Clark—to breast cancer research and awareness. Nearly $16,000 will be donated this month in honor of breast cancer awareness month. Guido Clark is also donating $1,000 from her royalties received from the Collection.
Last year, Pallas Textiles pledged to donate a portion of the Collection’s sales to breast cancer research and awareness each October throughout the life of the Collection. To date, more than $26,000 has been donated.
“The Entwined Collection was designed to create comfort and solace for patients and family members, but it’s doing so much more,” said David White, vice president and general manager, Pallas Textiles. “Thanks to another strong year of support and specification of the Collection by our customers, we nearly doubled last year’s donation to breast cancer research and awareness. We’re proud to join our customers in supporting such an inspirational cause.”
Entwined contributes to the quality of healthcare environments by creating an air of comfort and solace for those who need it most: patients and family members. Through its warm and welcoming patterns, Entwined serves as an ideal solution for patient rooms, family lounges, waiting rooms and lobby areas. With comforting designs, unparalleled soil and moisture resistance, Entwined is one of the most functional and durable textiles for healthcare environments.
Entwined is a specially designed, fully functional textile solution that easily adapts to the demands of healthcare environments. This unique collection is comprised of four patterns (Running Stitch, On the Fringe, Interlaced and Unraveled) and one solid (Unspun). Unspun, Running Stitch, On the Fringe and Unraveled all have stringent antimicrobial properties to meet today’s healthcare specifications. What’s more, Unspun, Running Stitch, Unraveled and Interlace are all 10:1 water:bleach cleanable—the industry standard established by the CDC for infection Control.
