Company showcases collections from Pallas Textiles and Skyline Design

GREEN BAY, WIS. – More than 175 architects, interior designers and other special guests joined KI for an evening of shopping and networking at New York City’s Saks Fifth Avenue department store on Nov.14. The “Shoe FÊTEish” event was co-sponsored by Pallas® Textiles and Skyline Design.

“An event like this is a great way to bring together members of the A&D community, showcase some of our products and just have some fun,” said Norman Nance, IIDA, LEED®AP, vice president-marketing, A&D and environmental initiatives, KI. “We look forward to hosting similar events like this during the upcoming year.”

Attendees enjoyed food, wine and music in Café SFA, Saks Fifth Avenue’s premier dining area, adjacent to its recently renovated “Shoes on Eight” designer shoe floor. Pallas Textiles previewed samples of its upcoming collection, Simply Real, designed by Laura Guido-Clark. The Simply Real collection features four lines that highlight uniquely hued color combinations in fabrics made of recycled and recyclable materials, each suitable for corporate, education, healthcare and hospitality markets.

Also on display were a number of pieces from Skyline Design’s architectural glass collection. Several Skyline Design glass options are available for KI’s Genius® architectural wall systems including large and small scale patterns, frosted finishes, weaves and textures.

Guests were treated to a 15 percent discount on all of the store’s merchandise and enjoyed private shopping between the hours of 8 p.m.-9:30 p.m. when Saks Fifth Avenue closed its doors to the public. KI also raffled off two $100 gift cards from the department store.
